Ms Word shortcut to find next (Windows & Mac)

Ms Word’s provides useful, fast and flexible feature to find. Using this feature you can find almost anything in Ms Word including text, formatting, spaces, formatted text, section/page break, etc. If you use find feature often, then you can save much of your time using find next shortcut of Ms Word.

Ms Word shortcut to find next are as follows

• After finding desired text using Find (Shortcut Ctrl+F) feature, hit Esc or click Cancel
• Shortcut to find the next occurrence of last search is “Shift+F4” (for Windows and Mac)

Note, that find next shortcut in Word works only when you hit Esc or cancel find

Caution

Be careful that other similar shortcut like “Ctrl+F4” and “Alt+F4” closes current document/Word.
